Get a California Mortgage and get equity too

My husband and I had been running our own business for about three years, selling 3-paired socks. You know how like you always lose one sock out of the pair when you wash it? Well, we came up with the 3-paired sock and it took off really well. Only problem was, now we were expanding and life in California was pretty expensive, we needed more cash. Equity is what we really need, my husband said. I was not sure what he meant, apart from getting a mortgage and I was not sure I wanted to get a mortgage. But he reassured me, Karen, if we get a California Mortgage we can get the equity we need to expand the business. A lot of my friends have a California Mortgage and they now own property and it is far better than renting. If we continue renting much longer we may be too old to even qualify for a California Mortgage if we want one.

Why I am pleased we got a California Mortgage

So I listened to what he was saying about why we should get a mortgage and why it made sense in California etc. and I agreed to speak to the bank. The bank guy was really great and explained all about what it would mean to have a California Mortgage and it did make sense to me so I agreed. Now we have a California Mortgage I am actually very happy; it makes far more sense than renting.
