Why I am glad we got a California Mortgage

Life in California was really great. We had moved to California six years earlier, just because my husband got a really great job in Los Angeles. I was happy in California but renting was crazily expensive and I felt like we were just throwing money away. My husband knew how I felt and one day said to me, we should really look in to getting a California Mortgage. He knew I would be worried as my mother had experienced so many difficulties with her mortgage when we were growing up, that mortgage had really become quite a dirty word. On the other hand, not getting a California Mortgage was pretty insane at this point of our lives. So we looked at our credit, investigated what we would owe, saw the California Mortgage as a real investment and took the plunge.

Why I am glad we have a California Mortgage

I feel quite proud actually that, living in California we can say we own property in California too. The California Mortgage ended up being not nearly so daunting either. Having a California Mortgage just means monthly payments now; exactly the same as when we were renting!
